At the Niara Foundation, we believe in the transformative power of education. Our mission is to digitize rural schools across Namibia by providing computer equipment and resources to enhance digital learning for students in destitute communities.
“Niara” is a Swahili name meaning “one with a higher purpose”. Our purpose as a foundation is therefore to bring about meaningful and sustainable change in less privileged communities, specifically for early childhood development.
We are committed to bridging the digital divide and ensuring that every child has access to quality education, regardless of their background. By donating computers, tablets, and other technology tools to schools in rural areas, we aim to empower students with the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century.
Through our initiatives, we not only provide hardware but also offer training and support to teachers and students to maximize the impact of technology in the classroom. We believe that by integrating digital learning into the curriculum, we can inspire a new generation of learners and prepare them for a brighter future.
